Fragments of flashing thoughts

Zhu’s prose works are very common except a few pieces of selections familiar to us. His writings on travels in Europe are so boring that I had to read with a will. This reminds me of a young ancient gifted scholar named Jiang who ran out his talent after finishing a few brilliant works. Nevertheless, he could be proud to win a place in the history of Chinese literature, which is beyond the reach of a great many literary enthusiasts. So I come to a conclusion that for us readers, it is unnecessary to appreciate all the works of some authors who fascinate us most by their masterpieces. Even Zhu himself confessed that he had no talent for writing stories, let alone novels. As for novels, after the four great classical novels there have been almost no Chinese novels comparable to those of foreign countries in nineteenth century Dream beauty pro.

At present, the TV channels and programs may be said numerous. But those worthy to watch are really small. Two factors are responsible for the result. First, for their own reasons, the disqualified programs drive more and more audiences away. Second, people tend to be lured by computers and mobile phones which can offer more choices to their satisfaction. Provincial and municipal TV programs can be cast aside as refuse. Central TV’s politics–oriented news and time–killing made–up TV play serials can be ignored too. The documentary channel, the science and educational channel and the drama channel are all recommendable for watching. And the weather forecast in the first channel of CCTV is a must of my everyday concern. Waiting for Me we regularly watched is among the best programs. The program comes to people’s help searching for missing kin or those losing contact. The service is totally free of charge, a noble cause benefitting people. Many social problems were revealed by the program including domestic violence and trafficking of women and children. The experiences and affections of the people concerned were true and moving, audiences present and the hostess were often in tears. When the separated family members or friends were reunited at last, all got relieved. Human traffickers must be punished severely. I wish no tragedies of such separation would ever happen again.

There will be an academic meeting this weekend on Chinese culture at the provincial guesthouse. Some experts and professors are to give lectures on studies of Chinese ancient civilization. A number of personages from the cultural circle in our province are going to show up at the assembly. Reporters from different influential media are invited to the gathering. Our school also received an invitation to the forum. Our headmaster thought me a learned person and decided to send me to attend the meeting. I was reluctant to go but unwilling to disobey the arrangement. Later I recommended Mr. Yu to principal to replace me. First I successfully convinced Yu to go in my stead. I pointed out to him that he is young and promising, especially endowed with a deep voice which can fascinate audiences when making speeches in public. And he mustn’t miss this good opportunity to learn and broaden his horizons. Finally he agreed to my analysis and persuasion. I told principal my difficulty for presence at the meeting that I have to look after my sick mother at home. He nodded in agreement at last. I would rather stay at home reading than make the journey to the lectures by sacrificing my own time Dream beauty pro.
